Video Report: Increased Speeding Fines In Hungary
- 11 Oct 2012 12:55 PM
Each and every year the leading cause of traffic accidents in Hungary is speeding, according to a survey by the National Police Headquarters (ORFK). For this reason, regulations concerning the fines for speeding have been increased, with the Hungarian police now bearing down on drivers harder than ever.
The above picture speaks for itself, so be extra careful and avoid driving like the guys in this video, as 'hyperspeed' can now cost upto HUF 300.000.
Also be aware of the so called “objective responsibility” rule, it's always the owner of the car who is fined, not necessarily the person caught speeding.
Oh and repeatedly breaking driving laws will result in even stricter fines, so take care Dave!
