Hungary’s parliament has approved the culture and innovation ministry’s (KIM) initiative declaring 2025 a memorial year celebrating 19th century writer and MP Mór Jókai and 20th century lawyer, MP and public education minister, Kunó Klebelsberg, KIM said.

The new production staged by András Almási-Tóth is to be performed in the original (1869) version, for the first time in Hungary, under the baton of Alan Buribayev.
