The Budapest Transport Centre and a sports marketing office have placed TV screens on some city trams to allow fans of the Olympics to watch the games while they travel. The TVs will appear on the 1, 1A, 3, and 61 trams during the Olympics.

The tax authority NAV will carry out on-site checks at pubs and restaurants during the Olympic Games, it announced yesterday. Tax officials disguised as football fans carried out raids during the European Championship football tournament last month.
