Visiting Parliament To See Hungary's Holy Crown - Special Viewing On August 20th

The Holy Crown of Hungary, also known as the Crown of Saint Stephen (Szent Korona), was the coronation crown used by the Kingdom of Hungary for most of its existence. Since 2000, this Holy Crown has been on display for visitors to see in the central Domed Hall of the Hungarian Parliament.

100+ Xpats, including many high-level members of international community in Budapest, came together to socialise at XpatLoop's latest networking event - this time at Sofitel's magnificently located Chain Bridge hotel. This 'Harvest Festival' themed occasion featured beautiful riverside views, fine finger food, 'wine casino games', and unlimited quality wine tasting.

The key question around which the art of Miklos Gaál and Tibor iski Kocsis revolves is the situation of reality and its relationship to representation, or, more precisely, the role of experience and perception in the artistic creation of reality. This exhibition offers a selection of the works of the two artists, presenting the answers they give to this question.

The community of The British International School Budapest came together to celebrate the graduation of its Class of 2017 last Saturday at the Intercontinental Budapest. The event was attended by over 250 students, parents, teachers and guests, including Dr Michael Ignatieff PC CM, President and Rector of CEU, and Her Britannic Majesty’s Ambassador Iain Lindsay OBE (pictured below).
