The refurbishment of the Castle Bazaar and the royal gardens of the Buda Castle may begin this autumn, according to the Hungarian Government. The Danube Bank side of the Buda Castle, a world heritage site, the so-called Castle Bazaar may finally be refurbished after decades of decay. This reconstruction project is one of the top priority projects of the Government.

"As promised, here are two more ideas for kids’ birthday party venues. Did I mention I once (that’s right, once) made the mistake of having one at home? If you’ve done that and not gone bonkers, then hats off to you. Our problem was, it was winter, and ALL the kids came who were invited (15 plus several siblings). Crowd behavior took over - I couldn’t get them to play the games I had planned.

"Smoking will be banned in all enclosed spaces in Hungary including offices, restaurants and pubs from January 1, 2012, after Parliament amended the Protection of Non-smokers Act with 271 affirmative votes, 37 dissensions and 14 abstentions.
