Budapest prosecutors yesterday pressed charges against war crimes suspect László Csatáry at the Municipal Court. Under the indictment Csatáry actively collaborated in the deportation of nearly 12,000 people from an internment camp in a brick factory in Kosice, Slovakia from May 1944. He was the head of the camp at the time.

The boxing trainer from Fehérvár mixed some wild garlic leaves (medvehagyma in Hungarian) that he picked himself into his omelette, accidentally adding lily of the valley to it. The fifty-year-old man complained of stomach ache on Saturday, and was found dead by his son on Sunday.
