Vác FC played against Gyulai Termál FC last Saturday. The match began with a minutes silence for the 'Day of the Dead’. A public holiday helped increase attendance ever so slightly. Despite the fog which created a spooky atmosphere, the match started and the weather cleared.

It commemorates the Revolution of 1956, when Hungarians rose up against the Soviet ruled communist system and also the ‘Day of the Republic’, as in 1989 Hungary was declared a republic. On October 22nd and 23rd there are several programs held throughout Hungary.
