The government will offer a Ft 4.5 billion subsidy to save the clothing manufacturer Styl Ruhagyár in Szombathely, Vas County, Napi Gazdaság reports, citing the agenda of the city council, which will vote on the matter on Thursday. The court ordered the liquidation of the company in 2005 after it failed to pay a $6,000 invoice.

The impact of most shops having to close on Sundays is minimal, as predicted. Customers quickly adjusted to the new measures, NAV told daily Napi Gazdaság.

Stadler Completes Delivery Of Trains To Hungary

Swiss firm Stadler has supplied the last two commuter trains to state railway company MÁV and Austrian-Hungarian railways Gysev Cargo, reports Világgazdaság. MÁV signed a contract with Stadler in March, 2013 for the purchase of 42 Flirt commuter trains for €267 million, mostly funded by the EU. Stadler will supply six trains to Gysev in a related deal.
