The iconic band had already visited Budapest in 1997 as the performer of the well-known Sziget Festival. For much of the group's career, the band has been a trio with drummer Tré Cool, who replaced former drummer John Kiffmeyer in 1990 prior to the recording of the band's second studio album, Kerplunk (1991).

The first ever Hungarian skiing expedition through the Northwest passage is now safely at home. Veronica Wynne-Hughes who is half British half Hungarian has completed the 400km historical route over sea ice. Watch the video of her expedition here:
