Audi is relocating the production of its SUV model Q3 from Spain to Gyõr as part of a wider production reallocation around Europe, the German carmaker announced yesterday. This will be the fifth Audi model produced in Hungary, alongside the TT Coupé, TT Roadster, A3 Sedan and A3 Cabriolet.

He added that once Uber destroys Hungarian businesses services would become much dearer. Road accidents were many and trains were delayed, though no flight cancellations were reported from Budapest’s international Liszt Ferenc airport. Runways at the airport are being continually cleared of snow and only minor departure delays are expected due to time taken to defrost aircraft, Budapest Airport spokesman Mihály Hardy said.

Hungary’s intelligent traffic surveillance system is set to be installed by the end of the year, the deputy national police chief said. The network dubbed “Véda” was financed in part by 14.5 billion forints (EUR 46m) of EU funds and will include 160 mobile speed cameras and 365 complex traffic control points on a total of 134 roads, Zsolt Halmosi told a press conference.

The Liget Budapest project’s original plan involved setting up five museums for Hungarian music, fine arts, architecture, ethnography and photography in City Park (Városliget).
