On May 25 Hungary will hold its election for the European Parliament. The government party opted to hold the national election on April 6 and a separate EP election seven weeks later. There was nothing that would have prevented the authorities from holding both elections on May 25, but such an arrangement wasn’t deemed advantageous to the governing party.

The new production of the Eifman Ballet pays tribute to one of the world’s greatest sculptors, Auguste Rodin, and his assistant, lover and muse, Camille Claudel-a relationship of passion and drama. The end of their fifteen-year-long romance was to be the beginning of Camille’s destruction; she suffered a mental breakdown and died forgotten in a mental institution thirty years later, in 1943.
