Oscar-winning US actor Tom Hanks has arrived in Budapest for the preparations of the shooting of his new film “Inferno”, sequel to “The Da Vinci Code”. Hungarian director Károly Mészáros’s first cinema film, the absurd romantic comedy Liza, The Fox-Fairy, has won the main prize and the award for the best visual effects at the thirty-fifth Fantasporto international film festival, held in Porto, Portugal. It is the first time in the festival’s 35-year history that the main prize, named Fastasporto Grand Prix, has gone to a Hungarian movie.
