The government will deprive over 100 former ‘III/III’ domestic security agents and their heirs of their pension supplement, said Justice Ministry state secretary Bence Rétvári. More information on the extra fares payable for travelling on fast trains was revealed by Development Ministry state secretary for infrastructure Pál Völner on Tuesday. A new development is that people aged under 6 and over 65 years of age, who are otherwise entitled to free rail travel, will only be able to use the affected trains if they buy a monthly pass for Ft 1,500.

An international conference was organised in Budapest on the use of opioid medicines for curative purposes. The aim of the ATOME (Access to Opioid Medication in Europe) Project is to improve access by patients to opioid medication in those 12 countries of Central and Eastern Europe, where the per capita consumption of morphine is very low, as shown by statistical evidence.
