This will be Iguana's 16th Cinco de Mayo Street Party. Cinco de Mayo commemorates the Mexican army's unlikely defeat of the French Imperial Army at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. Not to be confused with Mexican Independence Day on September 16th, Cinco de Mayo is celebrated in parts of Mexico, but especially in the United States among Mexican-Americans.

In the late 1930s, Europe teetered on the verge of what would soon become The 1939-1945 War, or to Americans, the Second World War. Out in Hungary, one newspaper editor was frustrated. He wasted far too much time filling up fountain pens and cleaning up smudged pages. He was annoyed that the sharp tip of his fountain pen often tore the paper.
