I'm 37 and was brought up in Glasgow, Scotland where after finishing school I made my way into deepest darkest Central Europe as an 18 year-old to teach English in Transylvania for a year. One university degree in translation and interpreting later (back in Edinburgh) I came out to Budapest to be with my fiancée. That was some 15 years ago now.

More than 30 will be dismissed from the news agency MTI, 80 from Magyar Rádió and nearly 140 from MTV and Duna TV.
