Hospital Association chairman Jenő Rácz told public television last Friday morning that he approves of medical staff accepting “gratitude money” from patients for their treatment. The change in the Labour Code effective July 1 classifies the acceptance of gratitude money as a crime, “except if the employer orders otherwise”.
