Telenor In Hungary Won’t Swallow Telephone Tax

Telenor will pass on added costs from the new telephone tax to subscribers unless one of the two taxes hitting the sector is phased out, communication director István Kutas announced yesterday. Only Magyar Telekom, Vodafone, Telenor and a consortium of state companies Magyar Posta, MVM and MFB Invest filed valid applications for future bidding, the NMHH said.
