"The English Speaking Union of Hungary St. Columba's Church of Scotland - Traditional Burns Supper. This is sometimes called the 'little' Burns event to differentiate it from the 'Big" Burns Budapest Event to be held this year on Saturday 24 January.

First came to Hungary in 1990 to start consulting company for business analysis and strategic planning. From 1993 to 1996 was the founding Marketing and Sales Director of Westel 900 (later T-Mobile Hungary).
Izabella Zwack, Head of the Zwack Unicum Wines Division

Izabella Zwack was raised in a small village in one of Italy's more notable wine regions. In 1988 she joined her family upon their return to Hungary where her father Peter Zwack got to work restoring the family business producing Unicum, the definitive Hungarian spirit.

"The lentil originates from Asia, but it is used throughout South Asia, the Mediterranean regions and the Middle East. We read about the lentil also in the Bible. Anyone read knows the Biblical story about Esau prophet who sold his right-of-first-born for a bowl of lentil stew.

With so much amazing history running through my imagination I set out to visit Jerusalem and Bethlehem, leaving my suitcase at the hotel at Tel Aviv in the safe keeping of the kind porters, who wouldn't accept a tip.
