While 77% of Hungarians are planning to go for a summer holiday this year and 74% say they will pay for travel insurance, 40% decide which insurance to choose based on price, a representative survey by insurer Genertel reveals, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

Ukraine International Airlines, the country’s national airlines has launched daily flights between Budapest and Kiev, the first flight landed with nearly 150 passengers at Liszt Ferenc airport on Thursday, Budapest Airport told MTI on Friday. The airline will fly Boeing 737-800 planes on the route.

Horst Mahler, a former German lawyer sentenced to prison for Holocaust denial, is to be extradited to his homeland, the Budapest Court of Appeals said. Mahler was apprehended in the western Hungarian town of Sopron on May 15 on the basis of an international arrest warrant.
