While New York Pizza is still tops in my book, there is a new kid on the block and they are getting a lot of things right. A Presto Pizza and Pasta opened its doors just a couple months ago at Hajos u. 13 just across from the Opera House and a few doors down from Treehugger Dan's.

If you are American, you probably also miss the hell out of Ben & Jerry's ice cream. But I found a great ice cream place recently. "Treehugger Dan’s has just begun cooperation with Budapest’s hottest cooking school, supplying Makifood with organic Fair Trade spices for their classes. I have never been to a cooking class, and the Elle Power Women Salon recommended that I try taking cooking classes to meet single women of my age, so I thought I would check it out.

"One of my favorite movies as a kid was Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971). What child did not want to win the golden ticket? Who didn’t want to see the mysteries hidden behind the tall walls of the factory? Who didn’t feverishly ride their bikes to the Penny Candy Store at every chance and buy sweets with grubby hands and hungry eyes?
