The number of smokers in Hungary has fallen dramatically thanks to government measures taken to protect non-smokers in the past few years, state secretary for health Miklós Szócska said. A recent survey shows that while 28% of the adult population used to smoke on a daily basis in 2012, that ratio dropped to 19% in 2013.
