Re-framing / free-framing the drawing
Curator’s tour in English by Zsuzsanna Tulipán in the exhibiton of Mireille Vautier.
Folding the paper, creating graphic signs with willow branches, preserving sounds by the slip of the pen, drawing with thread, saving by stiches. Mireille Vautier sees material not as a mere support that will receive an image, but as the very essence of the story to be told.
The exhibition is based on a journey through the senses from the motionless to the animated, showing artwork created with different techniques. The concept of nature as the physical environment surrounding man is extended to a poetic cycle of constant change, birth and transformation.
Mireille Vautier has been creating works that evoke vulnerability and concern, personal and cosmic. Despite the diversity of genres, the choice of the subject matter can be summed up in a single theme, the human existence in the face of time.
Admission: with an exhibition ticket
