Dear Friends,
Years ago, under the slogan "Listen to Local", we organized a party at LOCK focusing on Hungarian HOUSE DJs, standing out among the flood of events featuring big international guests. We want to revive this tradition with the DEEP and DANCE series, giving space to Hungarian HOUSE DJs once again.
To do this, we’ve invited one of the oldest and yet freshest club nights in the country, along with their circle of friends. BADGIRLS started 25 years ago and over the years has brought us legendary clubs and parties like Korona in Kecel, DTD in Kiskunhalas, and currently their residency at Hungi in Szeged. They’ve introduced us to the likes of Marco Carola, Loco Dice, Seth Troxler, and Sasha, Digweed, and Deborah De Luca.
This time they’ll be represented by founding member James Cole, who happens to be the most listened-to deep house artist among Hungarian performers, with a track nearing 10 million plays and a #9 position on the Beatport chart.
Representing the new wave is the SPONTÁN crew, who brought fresh energy to the capital’s HOUSE club scene. After many successful parties, the new generation's passion for the genre will be brought to us by the two founders: Rátkay and Viktor Bondar.
DEEP & DANCE - these two words together reflect the vibe of the evening: the fine, sexy, vocal, and groovy characteristics of HOUSE music, combined with its danceable elements.
Joining us from the new generation will be: Büttner, David Voge, Aleksander, and MusikX. And the club’s veteran host, Flash, will also be part of the night!
To support DJs from Hungarian communities beyond the border, we’ve invited NoElse, the Serbian/Hungarian A&R and DJ for the prestigious Witty Tunes (USA) label, as a special guest.
