Quimby is an iconic band in Hungarian popular music.

With their lyrics that are grotesque, humorous and bitterly optimistic all at the same time, their alternative rock songs capture the mood of young people after the fall of communism and a westernising world of Hungary as it opened its borders, sometimes losing its illusions, sometimes regaining them. In the performance of Kulcsár Noémi Tellabor, the heroes and anti-heroes of the “Quimby era” appear on the dance stage, holding up a distorted mirror to the world of the millennium.
