Alongside the family programmes, music also takes centre stage on Margitsziget at the Beats Sziget stage.

The St Stephen’s Day concert series kicks off with one of the little ones’ biggest favourites, the Zabszalma band, then, after a short break, the programme continues at 4 p.m. with a concert by Deva, who blend folk elements with modern sounds.

The varied light‑music line‑up features popular Hungarian bands such as Quimby and Random Trip, while the hot Balkan atmosphere is provided by the Serbian Boban Marković. From 11 p.m. onwards, the party continues late into the night with punchy DJ sets by Infragandhi.

Boban Marković Orkestar is one of the best‑known Balkan brass ensembles, and for decades has been a leading act on the world‑music scene. Their virtuosic wind playing, driving rhythms and high‑energy concerts have made them famous worldwide.

Fusing traditional Balkan sounds with a distinctive performance style, the band delivers a captivating live experience at every show.
