The idea for the band was born in the summer of 2018, when I decided to form an ensemble together with a fellow classical musician who also shared a deep passion for jazz.

Initially, the project was simply for our own enjoyment, focusing primarily on traditional straight-ahead jazz, bebop, and selections from the Great American Songbook, along with a few pieces by two of my personal favorites, Mike Mainieri and Gary Burton.

Our early momentum was unfortunately interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic the following year. After the lockdowns, I returned to the project with renewed energy.

Following several lineup changes, we gradually built a concert-ready band with a diverse repertoire, making our debut performance at the legendary IF Jazz Café.

Since then, we have performed regularly at intimate jazz clubs and have appeared several times in the Jazzliget concert series at the Erzsébetligeti Theatre.
