Dávid Resigns As Forum Leader
"Democratic Forum chairwoman Ibolya Dávid announced her resignation Sunday night, saying she considers the election outcome a serious defeat.

She blamed the Forum’s failure to retain its place in Parliament on recent attacks against the party. She admitted that they also made mistakes themselves and that she bears some responsibility.

The Forum was unable to speak about its platform in the past two months, Dávid said, and did not campaign but had to file applications – apparently a reference to the many legal challenges faced by the party.

The Free Democrats acknowledged the result of the elections with disappointment, as the alliance with the Forum did not win 5% of the votes, said chairman Attila Retkes."
