French Students Attack Teacher In Budapest
"Police have launched proceedings against three French students who assaulted their teacher on Döbrentei tér in the First District, early Monday evening.

The teacher was taken to Szent János Hospital with light injuries and was later released.

Police detained the three, aged 10-15, and questioned them in the presence of a member of the French embassy staff, before releasing them.

Reports suggested that the pupils attacked the teacher because they had found paedophile pictures on his mobile phone. However, Budapest prosecutors office spokeswoman Gabriella Skoda told Magyar Hírlap that police found nothing on the phone.

French authorities will conduct any further proceedings, as the injured party and the suspects are all French citizens."
