Recipe Of The Week: Deep Fried Mushrooms In Beer Dough
"A light dish; easy to make and gone in minutes.

Ingredients for about 2 servings:
250 g button mushrooms
2 eggs
2 dl beer
100 g flour
1 tablespoon oil
salt
oil for frying

Preparation time: 30 minutes

Difficulty: ☺

Preparation:

Clean the mushrooms.

Make the dough: mix the egg yolks, the beer, the flour and salt. Beat the egg whites, add to the mixture. Add the oil too, and mix well. Dip the mushrooms into the mixture, so the dough covers them well. In a large skillet heat the oil, and fry the coated mushrooms for 2 minutes or until light brown.

Serve it with rice, French fries and tartar sauce.

Hint:

Buy medium sized, fresh button mushrooms.
Cut only the end of the stems, and if they are bigger, slice them or cut them in half.
Mushrooms can be boiled, but not important.
If you washed the mushrooms, dip them in flour before dipping into the mixture."
