Ft 0.5bn Spent On Sludge Defence In Hungary

"Water management authorities affected by the October 4 red sludge torrent have spent about half a billion forints on protection, while continuous alert and the cleaning of waterbeds constitute further expense, Central Transdanubia Environment and Water Management director Istvan Csonki told MTI.
Veszprem municipal court seized several properties of Magyar Aluminium’s managing director Zoltan Bakonyi on Tuesday, Magyar Nemzet reports."
