Roma Films Screened On International Human Rights Day In Budapest

"The Embassy marked International Human Rights Day on December 10 at an event organized by Amnesty International at Budapest’s Gödör Klub. As part of the afternoon program, the Center for Independent Journalism (CIJ) presented short documentaries created by Roma and non-Roma journalists that personalize the issues faced by the Roma people.
The short videos were produced by journalists participating in a training program that was in part sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Budapest.
Once the final production work is complete, the videos will be available for viewing on Roma community website www.sosinet.hu as well as on the Embassy website."
