Orbán, Fico Approve New Bridge Between Hungary And Slovakia

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico signed a joint statement on Tuesday to construct a bridge on the Danube between Komárom, northern Hungary, and Komarno, Slovakia, to open in 2016-17, Prime Minister’s Office state secretary Péter Szijjártó told M1’s “Ma reggel” talk show Wednesday morning.
The costs will be split equally by Hungary and Slovakia, and a total of 16 new border stations could be established within two years, he added.
