Hungarian Gov’t Spent Ft 800mn On Ad Campaign
The government spent Ft 800 million last year on its Hungary is Doing Better campaign, deputy prime Minister Tibor Navracsics revealed in reply to a written question from Jobbik MP and spokeswoman Dóra Duró.

The campaign ran from March 25 to November 10 on television, radio, outdoor advertising spaces, in print and online.

Duró told reporters on Thursday that it is phoney of Fidesz to speak of a brief election campaign when it already began a campaign financed by public funds last March.

She added that the Ft 800 million exceeds the Ft 600 million in state financing given to parties for campaign purposes.
