Hungarian Jobbik Party’s President Hopeful Ahead Of Elections
Jobbik president Gábor Vona expects the number of Jobbik mayors to rise from the present three in the upcoming local elections, he said on the weekend. Népszabadság observes that Jobbik did not win any individual constituencies in the April parliamentary elections.

However, a breakdown by Geoindex showed that Jobbik was stronger than the left wing in villages with few inhabitants, while the left wing was stronger in larger towns.

Jobbik was the second strongest party in 2,100 municipalities.
