Hungary’s Immigration Authority Takes Action Against 330 Kosovars
Hungary’s immigration authority has taken action against 330 Kosovar nationals who were detained by police for crossing into Hungary illegally. The Kosovars were taken off a train bound for Vienna at the station of the city of Győr, in west Hungary, on Monday.

Zsuzsanna Végh, the authority’s chief, said that the border violators in question did not have the required papers to travel within the Schengen area.

Most of the Kosovar nationals are being handled by the Immigration and Citizenship Office, since they had previously asked for asylum in Hungary.

Several of them also declared during police proceedings that they requested international protection from Hungary.
