Janis Pub

By far, our favorite Budapestian Karaoke hotspot in Pest. Located on a narrow cobblestone street that screams Europe just in case if you forgot where you were! This is a British pub righteously dedicated to Janis Joplin, a perfect haven for those who wail. Good people and awesome Joplin memorabilia, a place to make memories worth remembering.

Morrison's Music Pub/Opera

Not to be confused with the bougie Morrison's 2! Morrisons Music Pub is the closest to a New York bar in Greenwich Village but here in Budapest! It’s tucked underground off a side street next to the Hungarian State Opera. It’s cramped capacity is not for the claustrophobic or those with intimacy issues but it is for those who dig dive bars, sublime spirits and good times.

Ypsilon Café

Located a bit further out of central downtown Budapest, Ypsilon has a classy atmosphere upstairs within it’s restaurant and a sassy nightlife downstairs where karaoke reigns supreme. We strongly recommend this spot.

Pointer Pub

The karaoke hotspot is in Buda. It's a British pub directly off the Mechwart Liget tram stop. For those who might have stage fright, have no fear for this pub has no stage. But it does sport a true Chicago-esque feel to it, as it sits on street level with a multi-cultural blend of patrons and is located right next to public transport.

Crazy Café

Located walking distance from Nyugati Palyaudvar, this Crazy Café is in a cellar where the energy does get crazy but in a most excellent way. The drinks are a bit pricey so there's no shame to a little preparty before this party. You'll respect crazy once you submit to this Crazy Café.

Don’t sweat singing in front of strangers. Everyone there wants to have fun and they’ll respect you when they see that you’re having fun! Don’t think the happy thought, be the happy thought!

5. Show Time
