Proof For Hidden Party Financing In Altus Affair Sent To EC

Cabinet chief János Lázár held talks with EC director-general in charge of regional policy Walter Deffaa on Tuesday and presented the government’s view that the commission had not been circumspect enough when it signed a contract worth 5 million euros with Altus to check the utilisation of EU funding.
Among the documents sent to the EC director are Gyurcsány’s asset declaration form and company information from the registry court showing that Gyurcány is the sole owner and he had donated 16.2 million forints (EUR 52,000) to DK last year in his capacity as a private individual, Csepreghy told the paper.
