For those who haven’t joined us before, (and contrary to some rumours of 16-hand plus thoroughbreds racing round the bars in Champs) there will be videos of 8 real horse races, names etc changed of course, on all the television screens and the two Big Screens in the Clubhouse so everyone can see the races from wherever they are.

The colours and chances of each horse will be shown in plenty of time for you to pick the winners…..and our bookie extraordinaire, (not too) Honest Bob, will be with us again to help bring fun, excitement, and disappointment while at the same time contributing to the Charity….of course we will explain how before the first race starts….. but, whether you win or lose, or more likely both, the Orphanage in Göd will be the overall winner!

By the way, sadly, none of the Committee, nor anyone else helping run the evening, knows the result of the races, so no use trying (by whatever means…) to get insider information!

The first race will be under starters orders after the event introduction at around 19.30, the Clubhouse will open as usual around 18.30.

We are asking Guests for an entrance donation of 500ft. towards the evening, Members will have already donated this through their membership of The Club!
