'Pro-Migration' Interpreters Sacked
The Immigration and Refugees Office (BMH) has fired ten interpreters for “misusing their position” by trying to extend help to potential migrants who are awaiting the evaluation of their applications, Magyar Idõk reports based on information obtained from the Interior Ministry.

The newspaper turned to the ministry because one of the leaders of Migration Aid International Ltd, Aida El-Seaghi, also worked as a translator for the law enforcement and immigration authorities.

She applied to work at the Debrecen Court last year but her application was rejected as major doubts had arisen about whether she could perform her work in an impartial manner, the daily says.

The daily wrote that Migration Aid “supports the admission of migrants, organised an anti-government demonstration in 2015 and unintentionally assists in the implement of the ‘plan of George Soros’.”

El-Seaghi received a prize as volunteer of the year in 2015 from the Önkéntes Központ Alapítvány because ”for 80 days – and more than 400 hours – she sacrificed her leisure time to help refugees,” news sites report.
