Recipe Of The Week: Seasoned Tea
A hot, spicy, detoxifying tea to warm your body and soul on a cold winter day.

Ingredients for about 1 liter:
1 liter hot water
Ginger, peeled and sliced
Cinnamon sticks
10 cloves
10-15 Cardamom seeds (optional)

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Difficulty: ☺

Preparation:

Peel and grate or slice the ginger. Cut cinnamon into small pieces.

In a large saucepan bring 1 liter of water to boil. Keep over high heat, and add the ginger, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom seeds, and boil for 10 more minutes. Strain the liquid into a large pitcher or other heat resistant container. Add honey or sugar to taste, but it is equally as delicious without any sweetening.

Hint: You may want to check the country of origin of the ingredients. Some may contain harmful chemicals.

Fish soup and Hungarian fish soup – no two the same. Even though Hungary is not a “nation of fishermen” the native fish soup, which is made only from freshwater varieties, is one of the country’s most popular dishes, and is even considered to be a national specialty.
