Postal Rates To Rise By 3% On Average
State-owned Hungarian postal company Magyar Posta said that its rates will rise by 3% on average from mid-January, although some rates will remain unchanged.

The rate for domestic delivery of packages under 2kg will rise to 1,530 forints (EUR 5) from 1,490 forints. In the same weight category, MPL business package rates will rise from 1,690 forints to 1,740 forints.

The price of mass mailings, firstclass letters and postcards will not change.

The delivery price of official documents will rise by 10 forints to 370 forints and that of registered documents by 5 forints to 295 forints.
