Hungarian Tennis Star’s Luggage Looted
Tennis star Tímea Babos complained on Facebook on Friday that she found her luggage had been slashed and opened upon her arrival in Doha from Budapest.

The Development Ministry last week began an inquiry into the activity of ground crew at Budapest’s Liszt Ferenc International Airport, after reports from the South Korean embassy and others of looted baggage

Police found jewellery and perfumes stolen from Babos in the homes of a 22-year-old man from Vecsés and a 25-year-old from Monor who were employed at the airport.

Police are stepping up their presence at the airport. Two Airport Police officers supervise the loading and unloading of baggage on every arriving and departing plane.
