58,000+ Hungarians May Cast Vote From Abroad
More than 58,000 people have registered to cast their ballot at one of Hungary’s 118 embassies or legations at the April 8 parliamentary elections. That number was 28,161 four years ago.

Citizens with a Hungarian address who will not be staying in Hungary on polling day may cast their vote at Hungarian embassies and consulates.

The highest number of such voters, 9,709, want to cast their ballot in London, followed by voters in Munich, Stuttgart, the Hague, Bern and Berlin.

The boxes containing the votes will be delivered to Hungary and mixed with votes collected at a polling station in the voters’ constituency.

The pro-government Civil Union Forum (CÖF) and its associated Civil Union Foundation (CÖKA) have officially announced a "Peace March" (Békemenet) to be held on the March 15 national holiday. The organization’s leader, László Csizmadia, confirmed on Tuesday that the police have been notified of the plans for the demonstration, which traditionally draws hundreds of thousands of supporters of the Orbán administration.
