'Liszt Comes To Budapest', Éva Polgár Concert, 18 May
Fresh from America, Éva Polgár is one of Hungary’s emerging talents, having brought her piano interpretations to many audiences in the Northern hemisphere.

She is set to play in a charity performance in Budapest’s Duna Palota at 7pm on Friday 18 May 18, with internationally renowned conductor Tamás Vásáry.

Born in Zebegény, on the banks of the Danube, Eva’s early progress through the Liszt Ferenc Academy and Sibelius University, Helsinki, was supported by Xpatloop’s readers.

Eva specialises in Franz Liszt and Béla Bartók’s music and has since travelled internationally to promote Hungarian culture.

Now, some years after playing for the Hungarian Embassy in Washington, D.C., she has won the prestigious Los Angeles International Liszt Competition.

She recently obtained her Doctorate from North Texas University.
