Prosecution Seeks Life Imprisonment For Budapest Bombing Suspect
The prosecutors asked for life imprisonment for the man accused of setting off a bomb in central Budapest in 2016.

Two police officers were wounded in the attack on September 24, 2016, one of them with life-threatening injuries, when the bomb exploded near a ground floor shop entrance in Budapest’s central Teréz Avenue.

The suspect, identified as László P, was detained in Keszthely, in western Hungary, on October 19 on charges of premeditated terrorist act targeting authority.
