MOL To Charge For E-Car Fill-Ups
MOL will charge drivers of electric cars for using the energy company’s charging stations, which have been free so far, from August 1, electric car news website e-cars reports.

Fast charging with AC will cost a flat fee of Ft 2,990, while the slower DC charging will cost a flat fee of Ft 1,990 regardless of the energy used. These fees must be paid before charging.

MOL has four fast charging stations in Budapest. It will open a further 10 in the capital and 15 outside of it by the end of the year.

MOL is also participating in the EU’s Next-e project aimed at opening 252 charging stations in Eastern Europe by 2020.

MOL will establish 11 such stations on motorways.
