MOL Enters Plastic Recycling World
MOL signed a strategic co-operation agreement with German plastic recycling company APK in Merseburg, Germany on Wednesday, the energy company announced on the stock exchange website.

MOL will provide financial help to APK to complete construction of its new recycling factory.

In the future, the two companies will work together on the development and dissemination of new technology in Eastern Europe.

The so-called “newcycling” technology is now ready to hit the market, said APK board member Klaus Wohnig.

The growth potential is large in Eastern Europe, where plastic waste management will shift from depositing or burning to recycling, he added.
