Thermal Water Found In Downtown Budapest
Thermal water has been discovered during the construction of a sports centre on Vadász utca in Budapest’s Fifth District and will be incorporated into the planned facility.

The water found at a depth of 800 metres after extensive drilling is suitable for bathing and heating.

District mayor Péter Szentgyörgyvölgyi said experts say the water quality is very high.

The local council is building a multifunctional sports centre, which will comprise a swimming pool, a pool for swimming lessons, a health centre with saunas, a thermal water pool, a gymnasium, a fitness centre and a huge climbing wall.
