New Year's Concert For Young People @ Palace Of Arts, 1 January
The Creation is a multi-layered masterpiece that is enjoyed by young and old alike. Joseph Haydn's oratorio proclaims the greatness and incredible richness of earthly existence, with each passage revealing the particulars of this miracle to the listener like a picture book - with vibrant colours, great warmth and charm, and no little humour.

One can practically see the birds and slithering creatures coming to life before one's eyes while the seas, mountains and rivers are born as God creates the sun, the moon, light, and finally, man.

This afternoon concert will feature the most spectacular parts of the work to be heard at the New Year's concert later that same evening, delivered courtesy of a host of excellent performers and conducted by the world-renowned Adam Fischer.

HUF 1,500

Date and time:
Wednesday, 1 January, 4 pm
