Coronavirus: Active Cases Stand At 41,580 With 35 New Deaths In Hungary

The second wave of the epidemic is also rising sharply throughout Europe and Hungary, which is expected to lead to a further increase in the number of people infected. The government’s goal remains to maintain the country’s viability while maintaining health protection and not let the virus paralyze everyday life. However, this requires adherence to general precautions.
According to a government decree published on Thursday, wearing masks is also mandatory at outdoor and sporting events. Participants must wear a mask at the venue of a sporting event and at an outdoor meeting.
Athletes, coaches, the match manager, the referee and their assistants do not have to wear a mask.
Anyone who does not wear a mask despite being instructed by the organizers of the sporting event or meeting must be instructed by the organizer to leave the venue.
In addition, the use of the mask remains mandatory in addition to shops and public transport in cinemas, theaters, shopping malls, healthcare and social institutions, and customer reception offices.
After 23:00, restaurants and entertainment venues must be closed.
During the autumn break, schools carry out disinfectant cleaning. In order to curb community spread, we continue to avoid places where there are many people indoors, preferably keep social distance, wash our hands often and thoroughly.
Anyone who has been ordered official home quarantine for a stay abroad or for any other reason must adhere strictly. Anyone with symptoms should not go to the community but stay at home and notify their GP by phone.
In addition to maintaining health protection, the government is also working on further economic and family protection measures.
